Software Informer – Keep your software up-to-date

imageHave lots of software installed on your system? And are you having a hard time searching and updating all the software. Then, this tiny little utility is for you. In basic terms, it simply checks each of your installed software with it's server for any latest version. When started, it shows a list of software for which update was found. It also creates a personalized web-page to download the updates specific to the software installed in your system.

Software Informer can also be minimized to the system tray from where it will constantly monitor for any updates found for your software and will inform you in the form of a pop-up when available.

I have to note a final point though, like any such software, this can also come up with some false-positives. I mean, it might show that one of your software needs update. But when you check with the software publisher's website, you might find that you are already using the latest version. That means, the version on Software Informer's server might be wrong.
